Roster: 8:6, FIFO full-time permanent,
Location: Cosmos Nickel Operation, FIFO ex-Perth (or DIDO from surrounding areas)

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Exciting things are happening at IGO, including the development of the Odysseus Underground Nickel Mine at our Cosmos Project based near Leinster in Western Australia. As a result, we have a Planner Maintenance opportunity at an exciting time of growth at IGO.
Once in production, Odysseus will deliver high quality nickel concentrates into the global nickel market which is growing rapidly driven by demand for nickel rich lithium-ion batteries.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Maintaining a high level of health, safety and environmental awareness and comply with all relevant policies and procedures;
- Optimise plant availability, reliability, performance and safety through planned maintenance strategy;
- Support surface & underground maintenance teams by providing timely consistent quality plans;
- Ensure effective budget controls are in place through solid reporting and communication
- Striving to meet best practice planning philosophies and always having a pro-active approach.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you will have a positive attitude towards safety as well as the following;
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade or Engineering Qualification
- Significant experience in similar role with knowledge of CMMS & Pronto;
- Extensive knowledge of Maintenance Planning and Scheduling processes
- Strong technical expertise and extensive experience working with mobile plant or fixed plant equipment.
- Above average computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite;
- The ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the Company;
- A current WA ‘C’ class manual drivers licence.
