YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Exciting things are happening at IGO, including the development of the Odysseus Underground Nickel Mine at our Cosmos Project based near Leinster in Western Australia. As a result, we have a Senior Planner Maintenance opportunity at an exciting time of growth at IGO.

Once in production, Odysseus will deliver high quality nickel concentrates into the global nickel market which is growing rapidly driven by demand for nickel rich lithium-ion batteries.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Take ownership of the work planning structures within the site maintenance team.
• Ensure the site CMMS is managed and kept up to date in accordance with business priorities.
• Ensure all surface and underground fixed plant equipment is maintained / scheduled and resourced within the manufacturers’ specifications.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety within the team by complying personally, and fully understanding all safety rules and regulations applicable to area of work.
• Establish and maintain effective lines of communication within your team and the organisation.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will have a positive attitude towards safety as well as the following;

• Mechanical or Electrical Trade or Engineering Qualification
• Proven ability to motivate and influence workshop team members
• Substantial post trade or engineering experience in a similar position in the mining industry, along with a well-established experience as a maintenance planner
• Extensive knowledge of Maintenance Planning and Scheduling processes
• Strong technical expertise and extensive experience working with fixed plant surface and underground equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable attitude.
• Extensive and demonstrable experience in implementing and improving PM and PdM maintenance strategies
• Advanced user of Pronto, INX & Microsoft Project & Excel
• A current WA ‘C’ class manual drivers licence.
