THE ROLE
IGO is an ASX100 clean energy mining and exploration company that has seen significant growth in operations and exploration projects in recent years. We currently have three underground Nickel operations, a 180-person corporate office and a large exploration team working across Australia. We also have a significant indirect interest in the Greenbushes lithium mine through a joint venture.
We are currently seeking applications from Executive Assistants who are experienced with managing C-Suite leaders. Someone who is energetic, dynamic, passionate about planning and organisation, and thrives in a fast-paced environment will excel in this role. Reporting to the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, this is a terrific opportunity for you to learn and grow in a new partnership and set up together from the beginning. You will support diary management, coordination of travel, Board reporting, minute taking and various other administrative duties. This role is full time and offered on a permanent basis.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Proactively planning and prioritising the CEO’s time for efficiency and productivity, ranging from daily to annual commitments;
- Coordinating meetings, events and travel;
- Primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders;
- Documenting meeting minutes and actions;
- Preparing presentations and proposals e.g., PowerPoint presentations;
- Working with a wide range of internal stakeholders business wide, including the Communications & Marketing team to assist with drafting, editing and coordinating sending various communications; and
- Administrative tasks, such as collating and processing expense claims.
YOUR EXPERIENCE

- Prior experience supporting a C-Suite executive/s, ideally within the mining and resources sector;
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills;
- Highly organised methods of working with a sharp eye for detail;
- Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information;
- High proficiency with MS suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
