Your Opportunity
This is a 12-month contract commencing in early February 2026. You will be based at our Perth office in South Perth and work closely with a small, collegiate legal team.

Key accountabilities include:
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts including procurement, land access, heritage, earn‑ins and joint venture agreements.
- Provide legal advice on mining law matters, operational issues and regulatory compliance affecting IGO’s business.
- Support due diligence activities and provide legal input into corporate development and transactional activities.
- Manage disputes, litigation and engagement with external legal counsel.
- Provide clear, commercial legal guidance to senior stakeholders across the business.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in legal processes, governance and risk management.
Your Experience
Along with an engaging communication style and pro-active attitude, you must be a team player and bring the following skills:
- Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor, with current Australian legal practising certificate.
- Demonstrated post‑qualification experience in commercial, corporate or resources law.
- Experience gained in a leading law firm or in‑house within an ASX‑listed organisation.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to provide pragmatic, commercially‑focused legal advice in a fast‑moving environment.
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
