Short Description:
In the role of UI/UX Designer, you will be expected to deliver UI/UX services in the mining domain. This role will interface with client and elicit business requirements, design and develop UI/UX components.

Roles and Responsibilities:
For you to be successful in obtaining this role you will need to possess the following:
- Expertise in gathering business requirement and elicitation
- Experience in executing the delivery of UX services in a complex stakeholder environment
- Well versed with UX principles, best practices and frameworks (including human-centred design and design thinking)
- Hands-on experience and ability to work across the full design lifecycle, from research activities through to design
- Experience in user interviews, usability testing, wireframing, prototyping and workshops
- Proficiency in design applications such as Figma (Sketch, AdobeXD or similar)
- Ability to implement practical, actionable plans and autonomously drive them
- Ability to present and communicate UX research and design outputs
Skills /Competencies:
Essential:
- Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a UI/UX designer
- Extensive experience in UI/UX design and development
- Figma (Sketch, AdobeXD or similar) (5+ years’ experience)
- AngularJS (3+ years’ experience)
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SQL, XML (3+ years’ experience)
- jQuery, AJAX, JSON (3+ years’ experience)
- Tools like GitHub, JIRA and Confluence
Preferred:
- Prior application development experience in mining operations.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Knowledge of Agile software development and project management
Additional Skills:
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
