At Iress, we make things happen
We believe technology should help people perform better every day.
Since our beginning in 1993, people across financial services have trusted us to take their performance to the next level. More than 10,000 businesses and 500,000 people use our software, from the world’s most iconic financial services brands to advice firms of all sizes, banks, insurers, investment managers, traders and brokers. Iress is one of Australia’s largest technology companies and employs more than 1,500 people across Australia, the United Kingdom, Africa, Canada, France, New Zealand and Asia.
Make data and AI useful in the work that matters
You’re proactive, curious and comfortable getting things moving. You know the best solutions start with understanding how people work, not with picking a tool. In this role, you’ll partner with teams across Iress to find practical ways data, AI and automation can make work easier, improve processes and help people do their best work.
You’ll turn early ideas into clear next steps, help teams test useful solutions with approved tools and connect them with the right technical specialists. You’ll see how ideas move from discovery towards adoption, build your consulting and technical skills, and leave teams more confident and capable than when you arrived.
This is a hands-on enablement role: you’ll help teams make progress, not become the permanent owner of their projects. Business teams remain accountable for their outcomes, delivery teams own what they deploy, and you’ll bring in platform, architecture and risk specialists when their expertise is needed.
Build your career at Iress.
Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in
- Partner with business and delivery teams to understand their workflows, friction points and desired outcomes - and how success could be measured.
- Turn promising ideas into concise use-case briefs, clarifying the problem, outcome owner, users, baseline, data needs, dependencies, risks and a sensible first step.
- Help teams understand whether their data is ready by identifying relevant sources, owners, access needs and quality questions, then connecting them with the right specialists.
- Look first to existing Iress capabilities and approved patterns. Depending on the opportunity, that could mean platforms such as Databricks, AWS, Glean, Salesforce or Jira.
