The purpose of this role is to guide, coach and help uplift delivery capability across Client Solutions in the APAC region, driving common ways of working that continue to improve delivery success by using a variety of agile based practices and methods.

You will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and prioritisation within a project team(s) for client programmes from initiation through delivery, which exceed client expectations, ensuring delivery is to agreed timescales, scope, quality standards, processes and cost. You may be responsible for specific client engagements both internally and externally acting as the key interface to clients on behalf of Iress and vice versa.

  • Work with the Client Solutions Leadership Team to create a high performing team and to foster a self-managing team culture that focuses on collective team ownership of goals and outcomes

  • Responsibility for the cross-functional engagement team, it’s delivery plans and alignment to Ways of Working.

  • Work with Client Solutions cross functional teams to embed the Ways of Working toolset for each new project to ensure teams have sufficient support to make effective use of capabilities and to ensure consistency essential for reporting

  • Support the Engagement Leads in making the right prioritisation decisions in order to ensure the right work is delivered effectively, priorities are clearly defined, aligned and that there’s a shared understanding of outcomes and success measures

  • Responsibility for the delivery of a programme(s) of work internally and / or to the client(s) and supporting the team to deliver this

  • Responsible for ensuring there is effective communication of client engagement(s) within Iress and working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional Iress teams ensuring alignment to our ways of working

  • Responsible for ensuring delivery plans are in place, agreed across all relevant Iress teams and work is delivered in accordance to the agreed delivery plans.

  • Responsible for timeliness, quality and effectiveness of client deliverables to Iress and Iress deliverables to the client ensuring Iress’ interests are protected where impacted by client failings

  • Work with the Commercial team to ensure effective management of commercial matters and to build effective relationships with external clients at multiple levels to ensure effective delivery whilst also acting as an escalation point so issues can be resolved

  • Build effective relationships internally in order to facilitate smooth working and delivery, within an environment of collective responsibility

  • Ensure all members of the engagement team have clear responsibilities and objectives and provide ongoing feedback on progress against these including where any areas of underperformance are identified, etc.

  • Develop, contribute to and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Iress product suite and our agreed Ways of Working and best practice methodologies to achieve continual process improvement and compliance with any relevant legislation

  • Ensure project retrospectives and post implementation reviews are conducted in accordance with Ways of Working.

What you will bring:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills that build knowledge and confidence with internal and external audiences

  • Knowledge of relevant client markets / segments and commercial priorities - i.e. to understand the client’s business

  • Strong command of the Iress Product suite and capability set

  • Able to work well under pressure and at speed, prioritising and co-ordinating multiple tasks across multiple projects

  • Experience with Jira and an agile working environment

  • A professional manner, being accessible to clients and providing timely and succinct information

  • Experience of delivering financial technology solutions into large corporate clients with excellent knowledge of quality assurance processes in all phases of a delivery lifecycle

  • Good appreciation of technical environments

  • Able to challenge colleagues, clients and stakeholders in a non-confrontational manner

  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate activities, handling multiple tasks across multiple deliveries

  • Robust and able to stand own ground, able to deliver difficult news to senior management, willing to challenge the viability of a business case
