You will be responsible for planning, organising and managing Client Solutions engagements (or stages of) from initiation through delivery, which exceed client expectations, ensuring delivery is to agreed timescales, scope, quality standards, processes and cost.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
Plan, organise and manage the delivery (or stages of) a client implementation in order to exceed client and internal stakeholder expectations
In collaboration with the other members of the engagement team, define scope, goals and deliverables and create delivery related schedules, milestones and timelines.
In conjunction with the Engagement Lead, establish the commercial aspects of the delivery to determine accurate budget and financial plans.
Manage the impact analysis, including where necessary customer contractual issues
Ensure relevant quality controls and plans are defined and adhered to, including managing the testing stages of the project and communications with the client
For bespoke / non-standard implementations manage the data migration process, communicating with the client and internal stakeholders ensuring a smooth cutover to the Iress solution
Proactively manage, control and, where necessary, escalate any deviations from agreed delivery through acceptable change control procedures
Constantly communicate, managing expectations of all stakeholders, reporting on progress as well as challenges and solutions. Prepare and present status reports.
Manage issues and risks and put in a plan of action if they occur
Ensure the engagement completion criteria have been met, obtain the final stakeholder approval for the deliverables, complete the final report, and ensure a smooth transition to BAU including upskilling Commercial Team and/ or Product Support team where required.
Conduct delivery evaluations against goals through a post implementation review/lessons learned.
What you will bring:
Excellent oral and written communication skills that build knowledge and confidence with internal and external audiences
Knowledge of relevant client markets / segments and commercial priorities - i.e. to understand the client’s business
Able to work well under pressure and at speed, prioritising and co-ordinating multiple tasks across multiple projects
Experience with Jira and an agile working environment
A professional manner, being accessible to clients and providing timely and succinct information
Experience of delivering financial technology solutions into large corporate clients with excellent knowledge of quality assurance processes in all phases of a delivery lifecycle.
Good appreciation of technical environments.
Project Management accreditation preferred.
Able to challenge colleagues and stakeholders in a non-confrontational manner.
Ability to prioritise and coordinate activities, handling multiple tasks across multiple deliveries
Robust and able to stand own ground, able to deliver difficult news to clients and/or senior management, willing to challenge the viability of a business case.
