This hands-on role will provide key subject matter expert (SME) input and project support for managing unit registry client change, regulatory and internal initiative projects, delivering these requirements with passion and to a high quality, timely and accurate manner with sound communication and a positive attitude.
The Transition Manager is responsible for ensuring their tasks associated to a project are completed, other teams are communicated to and are aware of the timing of the projects.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
Agreeing project objectives, effectively scoping each project
Setting the standards and methodology to be used in a project
Taking responsibility of projects through their entire lifecycle
Communicating with stakeholders to clarify the desired outcome of a project
Ensuring that all relevant processes are followed on projects
Assist and manage where required project personnel to achieve project objectives
Regularly review and analyse the project scope and submitting progress reports to stakeholders and senior managers
Stakeholder management, internal and external
Identifying project risks
What you will bring:
Financial Services experience (preferably within the Unit Registry, Custodial Services, Superannuation or Investment Operations space)
Preferred - Experience in managing, or exposure to delivering Client and Operational projects such as Fund Launches, Fund Closures, Restructures, Corporate Actions and/or tangible involvement in larger multi-stream projects
University graduates with financial services / fintech internship or cadetship experience will be actively considered
Polished and demonstrable interpersonal and client-engagement skills with the ability to delegate and give direction to specialist staff
Atlassian Jira experience preferred
