About the Role
As a Senior GIS Developer, you'll provide technical development and system administration support across our spatial applications, integrations, interfaces, and tools. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions that improve the way our people work in the field and across the organisation.
This role offers a balance of technical development, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both problem-solving and collaboration.
What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and deliver practical GIS solutions.
- Design, develop, enhance and support enterprise GIS applications and integrations.
- Maintain and improve spatial systems, interfaces, reports and development tools.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from analysis through to implementation and support.
- Produce clear technical documentation aligned with architectural and development standards.
- Work within change management, security and governance frameworks.
- Support project delivery by working closely with developers, project managers and business stakeholders.
- Help identify opportunities to improve system performance, usability and operational efficiency.
