Overview of our role
Play a key role in designing, building and optimising Jemena’s integration platform, helping connect critical systems and deliver technology that supports strategic business outcomes.
You’ll work across AWS cloud and on-premise environments, developing secure, reliable and cost-effective integration solutions while improving developer experience and enabling greater self-service.
As a senior technical point of escalation, you’ll help maintain platform reliability, performance and security, while leading and contributing to project delivery and ongoing platform improvements.
You’ll also participate in a 24/7 on-call roster, helping ensure Jemena’s integration services remain secure, available and performing at their best across diverse operational environments.

What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience designing, building and operating integration solutions across APIs, file transfer, events and data streaming.
- Strong experience building reliable, scalable integration platforms across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Strong quality engineering practices, including code reviews, version control, automated testing and deployment.
- Experience providing technical governance and ensuring integration solutions meet engineering, security and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to optimise platform performance, availability, resilience and cost efficiency, including disaster recovery and high availability.
