About the roles

Due to ongoing growth and team success, we have a newly created position of an Apprentice Resourcing Coordinator to join our team to support the Zinfra and Jemena Apprentice and Trainee Program. Our 2023 intake was the biggest to date with over 65 hires in this area with projections to grow.

We are looking for someone who has experience working in bulk recruitment or coordinating an apprentice program to join our team. Even if you do not have this exact skillset and are interested in this opportunity, we are still keen to hear from you.

For this opportunity we are willing to consider both FTC and permanent full time. We work a hybrid model and home location is flexible, being based in Melbourne or Sydney is preferred.

Embedded in our business as a member of our team, you will support a diverse client group across a range of roles. You will join a highly engaged and visible Talent function that has a good reputation across the business.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Coordinating and administration of recruitment for the Apprentice and Trainee Program
  • End to end recruitment
  • Stakeholder management and internal reporting
  • Directly sourcing talent using a mix of attraction and proactive sourcing channels
  • Active promotion of Apprentice and Trainee program at schools and career fairs
  • Assistance with onboarding activities
  • Sourcing of talent using a mix of attraction and proactive sourcing channels
  • Build networks into key talent segments to develop proactive talent pipelines

About you

You're authentic and honest. You support our hiring managers to find the right talent at the right time. Construction, energy, engineering or manufacturing industry experience is desirable, but not essential. And, sure, having internal recruitment experience is also advantageous, but it's not the be all and end all.

You're looking to join a passionate, energised and highly-engaged team that loves a laugh, but knows when to be serious, focus, and deliver a high quality experience to all stakeholders throughout a recruitment process.

Lastly, you showcase the confidence, capability and prioritising skills to navigate competing demands. You thrive in fast paced change and deal with ambiguity, effectively managing the often changing priorities. Finally, you couple a 'can do' attitude with a positive, friendly demeanour.

Recruitment Process

During our recruitment process, you may be required to undergo pre-employment checks including pre-employment medical, reference checks and national police check.
