We are currently seeking multiple Crew Members to support our field work crews for all planned construction and repair & maintenance works. You will be responsible for supporting the construction and repair & maintenance activities on the gas network; through the delivery of services, materials & equipment as directed by the crew leader in support of fabrication, installation and repair of gas pipes.
Our position is a Permanent Full-Time Opportunity with an attractive salary of $87k including superannuation with the opportunity to work overtime.
About the Role:
- Assist in the construction, repairs, testing and connection of gas mains and services
- Assist with site set up and restorations
- Assist with inventory and equipment coordination for crews
- Safe and efficient operation of excavation equipment
- Conduct excavations and civil construction activities within the utility industries
- Ensure worksite safety and environmental controls are established and maintained
- Ensure that all work is performed within Work Cover requirements.
- Work with other Zinfra employees and third parties to repair gas mains and services under emergency situations in line with planned and incident management procedures.
About you:
- Have a strong attitude towards quality and safety
- Hold a trade qualification or have relevant trade/labouring experience
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- A valid driver's licence (Medium Rigid Truck Licence - highly desirable)
- Hold an Excavator/Skid steer operations and VOC licence (highly desirable)
- Willingness to work in a fantastic team environment
