About the role:
We are currently seeking an Electrical Inspector to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.
The primary focus of this role is to ensure compliance work for metering and servicing is undertaken, the position will be based at our Tullamarine depot, servicing the Jemena electricity network.
- Customer phone calls and enquiries and assist customer projects with compliance issues involving rules, regulations, standards and policies
- Customer approvals of switchboards, metering and supply arrangements. Orchestrate and finalise the Jemena customer exemptions process
- Site meetings with customers and project managers as per their request and assist Network Connections team with all metering and connection queries
- Provide technical guidance to Registered Electrical Contractors and Licensed Electrical Inspectors. Supervise metering and servicing distribution crews and conduct on site audits of lines crews
