Here's an overview of our role:
As the Executive Assistant to the Executive General Manager (EGM) of Gas Markets, your role will be to provide important services to ensure the smooth, effective and efficient operation of the Gas Markets team.
Our EGM is a genuinely inspirational and supportive leader who entrusts you to be a valued colleague and trusted adviser and confidant. You will be an integral part of the Gas Markets and the Jemena Leadership Team, supporting the achievement of the Leadership Team goals and advance the broader organisational objectives. As the Executive Assistant, you will possess the confidence and capability to navigate the competing demands of senior leadership teams.
Another exciting part of your role will be to introduce and embrace new ways of working that continually improve the effective operation of the Gas Markets team, and the organisation as a whole.
Not only are you a valued member of the team, you will play an active role in the Executive / Administrative Assistant team. In conjunction with other Executive Assistants, you will lead by example creating a strong collegial culture that promotes mutual respect and fosters shared learning, contributing to a highly engaged, resilient, professional, and respected team.
A little about you:
- extensive experience in a similar role, ideally including Board exposure
- worked in a progressive, fast paced, and commercially oriented organisation
- successfully managing projects and initiatives
- general financial management principles, including reporting, analysis and budget management
Qualifications / certifications & Skills:
- Diploma in Business Administration or in a related discipline is preferred
- action orientated with strong integrity and trust
- self-belief and a genuine collaborator who embraces new ideals and develops further
- Interpersonal savvy; relates well to all kinds of people, builds rapport, and constructive, effective relationships, defusing even high-tension situations comfortably
