About the role:
We are seeking to engage experienced client facing Project Managers with a high level of proficiency in Estimating for large complex infrastructure projects. The appointed candidate will be responsible for managing all estimating activities and ensuring that all business units within Zinfra are appropriately supported to meet the required revenue and growth targets in a consistent and scalable manner. The role will work closely with Operations, Commercial, Risk and Business Development to ensure; estimation completeness, accuracy, due diligence and that a risk-based approach is undertaken for all tenders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a cohesive, customer focussed, solution orientated, high performing team by ensuring that the team mission, vision, objectives are set and communicated to the team in line with the business objectives.
- Determining key stakeholders within the business and develop relationships to achieve results
- Working in partnership with internal clients to understand requirements and expectations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in relation to the people and services being offered
- Partnering with the Operational Managers to understand business objectives and to align the delivery of services to the business strategy
- Implementing best practice estimating policy, procedures, and systems consistent with the company mission and competitive practices
- Building strategic external relationships with clients and subcontractors in conjunction with procurement teams
- Reviewing forward works and ensuring all estimating activities are completed proactively
- Influencing the wider team to create & develop compliant, competitive, cogent, and compelling proposals through effective collaboration across teams that include internal staff, projects operational staff, corporate partners, consultants, and supporting vendors
- Fostering a commercial risk management culture in the front end of the project life cycle
- Driving the implementation and monitoring of risk control measures throughout the estimation phase
About you:
To be selected for interview your resume will need to highlight either an Engineering or Business degree along side project management qualifications.
