About the role:
Jemena Electricity Networks (JEN) has commenced a Grid Stability Project following a Victorian Government mandate to introduce embedded generation ‘Back-stop’ measures and ‘Dynamic Operating Envelopes (DOE) for all connected customer embedded generation systems. The purpose of this project is to liaise with industry partners, industry bodies and customers to develop technical standards, commercial agreements, and industry comms. The role has both a strong commercial management and technical review focus to support an operationally efficient rollout of the Grid Stability Project.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading industry partner and industry body liaison and engagement
- Developing customer communication plan
- Amend existing connection agreements to facilitate the ‘Back-stop’ system and DOE
- Develop policies and work instructions
- Liaise with the JEN delivery partner (Zinfra) to establish operational process to roll out the Backstop and DOE processes
- Support the Grid Stability Project with assessment of all policies and provide a Customer Lens
- Provide project updates to the JEN Customer and Commercial group
About you:
- End to end understanding of the Embedded Generation connection process
- Previous exposure to electricity infrastructure projects and energy markets in a project management role
- Deep understanding of Jemena’s network and core processes
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills
- Proven experience working in complex layered stakeholder matrix markets
- Proven high level communication and influencing skills (essential)
- Commercial acumen
- Continuous Improvement mindset
