About the role:
Responsible for the Digital (BA) Business Analysis practice within Jemena. As the BA Practice lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing industry business analysis practice. You will nurture and support a team of skilled BA's (both internal and external), ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary tools, methodologies and support to deliver high-quality analysis that drives success for our business and digital teams
Your responsibilities will include:
- You will be responsible for the BA practice, ensuring effective job architecture, training and career management for all related roles
- Manage the utilisation & capacity of BA's ensuring the optimal allocation and deployment of resources across the enterprise and across the project lifecycle.
- Manages the end-to-end method for the BA's in Jemena
- Develop and ensure consistent application of best practice methodology including terminology, processes and templates
- Works with senior Digital stakeholders to build out shaping and prioritisation processes
- Integrate Business methodology and artefacts with predelivery and Digital Delivery operations
- Provide BA estimation and review for projects and where required BAU
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in I.T, Business, Commerce or a related discipline required
- Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst
- Experience working in a matrix organisation environment (‘home and away’ model)
- Experience in managing, nurturing and supporting BA practice / COE.
- Proven experience in delivering BA services through a mix of internal resourcing and external services
- Broad Digital domain experience across Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance and Support
- Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies
- Ability to oversee the delivery of large and complex technical initiatives.
- Knowledge of tools and techniques for key Business Analysis functions such as process mapping, requirements documentation, benefits elicitation and tracking etc.
