Internal Sales Specialist - Turf Lead

Crestmead, Queensland | Up to 25% travel

Turn your passion for turf into dealer growth.

Do you know the turf, outdoor power equipment, or dealer industry, and enjoy helping businesses grow? John Deere is looking for a commercially minded relationship builder to grow our Residential Lawn Equipment business across Australia and New Zealand.

This is more than a traditional sales support role. You will combine dealer partnership, market insight and sales execution to strengthen dealer capability, uncover growth opportunities and help more customers choose John Deere.

The Opportunity

  • Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of dedicated Turf dealers, playing a pivotal role in the success and growth of John Deere's turf business
  • Partner with Regional Dealer Managers to lift residential turf performance across the wider dealer network.
  • Turn sales, customer and market data into clear priorities and practical action.
  • Drive dealer participation in sales programs, campaigns and promotional activity.
  • Coach dealers on products, customer engagement and sales execution.
  • Bring the voice of dealers and customers into business planning and decision-making.

What will set you apart

A genuine passion for the Residential Turf business, its customers and the industry. You may already work in turf, outdoor power equipment, machinery, dealer development, aftermarket or a related industry. Just as importantly, you know how to build trust, influence outcomes and follow through.

  • Experience in sales, account management, dealer or channel development, customer support, marketing, aftermarket or another commercial role.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the confidence to influence without direct authority.
  • Commercial curiosity and the ability to use data and market insight to identify opportunities, risks and actions.
  • A proactive, accountable approach and the adaptability to work through change and complexity.
  • An interest in coaching others and improving dealer capability and customer experience.

What you can learn here

You do not need to arrive knowing every John Deere turf product. We can build your knowledge of our products, dealer network, sales programs, systems and account management approach. What matters most is your passion for the market, learning agility, commercial mindset and ability to build productive relationships.

Looking ahead

The role is designed to grow from sales support into a strategic dealer growth partnership. You will have the opportunity to strengthen your capability in dealer development, digital customer engagement, data-led decision-making and the use of AI-enabled insights.

Why John Deere?

You will work with one of the most recognised names in equipment while helping shape the next stage of our Residential Turf growth across Australia and New Zealand. You will build meaningful dealer partnerships, influence commercial outcomes and see the impact of your work in the market.

If you're excited by turf, dealer engagement, and helping businesses grow, we'd love to hear from you.

In Return, We Offer:

  • A friendly and inclusive culture where employee wellbeing is a priority.
  • Flexible work arrangements that support work-life balance.
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities, including higher education, training, and professional memberships.
  • The opportunity to work with an iconic brand helping to feed, fuel, and build the world.
  • 15% Superannuation when participating in the John Deere Mercer Super Plan.
  • 16 Weeks Paid Parental Leave for new parents.
  • Social activities, health and wellbeing programs, and a range of employee benefits.

Applications for this position will close on 28 Oct 2026

Note: Appropriate work authorisation is required prior to application.
