The Opportunity
The Aftermarket Sales Manager is responsible for the commercialization of aftermarket sales resulting in the continual increase in lifecycle revenue stream from the sale of aftermarket parts, attachments, lubes/chemicals, accessories, and services.
This role leads the development and execution of the dealer Aftermarket sales and marketing plan. Drives dealer adoption of marketing programs and campaigns to ensure we win in the lifecycle with our customers through genuine, tiered, and remanufactured parts solutions. Ensures plans include and are aligned to our objectives in Connected Service Marketing. Responsible lead for providing timely customer and dealer market insights to the aftermarket parts and services marketing teams.
Key role objectives-
Achieve aftermarket sales (parts and service) and profitability goals within a defined area.
Analysis of key dealer Aftermarket performance to ensure optimal participation in sales programs and processes.
Responsibilities will include planning/forecasting, pricing, sales program management and aftermarket product management. This position will ensure that all aftermarket strategies and programs align with Sales, Product Management, Operations and Distribution.
Identifies new business and potential growth opportunities, conducts customer visits, monitors competitor activity, provides feedback on business conditions, and makes new product recommendations.
Ensures compliance with company policies and sales programs. Leads the development and execution of dealer aftermarket sales and marketing plans and uses these plans as a foundation to work with each dealer location.
Professionally and effectively communicates with customers to understand business needs, elicit product feedback, and share product information.
Coaches and trains parts and service professionals on product, systems, programs, and processes.
Identify opportunities for potential competitive conversions.
Responsible for partnering with Dealer Development to execute business process optimisation within the Win in the Aftermarket Drives execution of the dealer aftermarket reward program through regular reporting to dealers and plans development to maximise their opportunities.

Skills You Need
Sales Expertise: Proven track record of achieving sales goals, with a deep understanding of the aftermarket industry, distribution channels and customers.
Market Insight: Ability to gather and provide timely customer and dealer market insights, influencing aftermarket parts and services marketing strategies. Knowledge of dealers and other channels.
Business Development: Proactive identification of new business opportunities and growth potential, including customer visits, competitor monitoring, and product recommendations.
Relationship Building & Communication skills: Skill in building and maintaining strong relationships with dealers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and seize opportunities within the aftermarket sales landscape.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, customer preferences, and technological advancements.
Remote Leadership: Ability to lead and manage dealer teams effectively, especially in a remote or virtual setting.
What Makes You Stand Out
Understanding of Agricultural, Turf, Construction and Forestry industry segments.
Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with digital tools and platforms to enhance aftermarket marketing and sales initiatives.
Familiarity with AI and automation tools.
Proficiency in using CRM systems.
Sustainability Knowledge: Awareness of eco-friendly solutions and the ability to educate customers about the environmental benefits of certain products will be increasingly important.
Education / Experience:
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Degree in Business/Management, Marketing or Sales Management or equivalent experience. Field sales experience. Dealer/distributor development.Sales Marketing experience ,
