The Opportunity
As the Parts Manager at Waratah Australia, you will oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products to customers across Australia and distribution channels in Africa & Asia. Your role involves ensuring warehouse operations adhere to company standards, driving parts growth initiatives, implementing training programs, and fostering a safe working environment.
Role Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to parts marketing plans and monitor competitive activities to drive sales growth.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolve issues, and build strong relationships to enhance brand loyalty and revenue.
- Supervise Distribution Centre workflow to ensure timely order processing and efficient receipting of products.
- Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations, manage freight documentation, and provide staff training.
- Monitor competitive activities, recommend strategies for sales growth and profitability, and promote positive pricing policies.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, maintain inventory control processes, and manage warehouse efficiency.
- Maintain premises in a professional manner, report operational improvements, and ensure compliance with lease terms.
- Evaluate staff performance, provide relevant training, and ensure a positive work environment.
- Direct WHS policy and programs as the OH&S Facility Manager, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with the Area Customer Support Manager to ensure health and safety training and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize budget information for efficient operations, manage customer accounts receivable, and ensure quality compliance.
- Maintain cooperation between departments and Distribution Centres for efficient order fulfillment.
- Record relevant information for payroll processing and foster a positive work culture among staff.
What Skills You Need
- Financial Acumen: Understanding financial principles and making strategic financial decisions.
- Effective Communication including Presentation Skills: Clear and impactful communication with stakeholders.
- Strategic Project Leadership: Leading projects effectively to accomplish organizational goals.
- Data Analytics and Computer Proficiency: Utilizing data analytics and technology for operational efficiency.
