The Role

Gordon’s is looking for a passionate Graduate/Junior Engineer to join their office located in Acacia Ridge QLD. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as part of a team with career advancement possibilities.

The Successful Applicant will have:

• Tertiary qualification (minimum B.Eng.) in mechanical, processor chemical engineering

• <5 years industrial refrigeration experience after graduation

• The ability to create, read and interpret drawings

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proactive approach and ability to work autonomously

• Keenness to learn and develop through contact with many different areas such as external fabricators and consultants, tradespeople and other professionals

• Possess a current valid driver’s licence

Working alongside experienced Engineers your responsibilities will include the following:

• Detailed design and layout work

• Assist with project scoping, tender document preparation, cost estimation, tender evaluation and preparation of recommendation reports and presentations.

• Ensure completed works are carried out in compliance with relative codes and standards

• Ensure quality, safety and environment aspects are followed

• Working closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
