What we build through partnerships matters and can have huge impact; our products and solutions reach thousands of business clients around the world, and affect how J.P. Morgan does business, moving trillions of dollars a day (25% of all $ movement globally). Our group partners with emerging and established Fintech players globally to accelerate the development of new payments and commerce solutions.

With a focus on EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) payments, channels, and value added services, you will:
- Build and maintain relationships with the EMEA fintech ecosystem to identify potential partners for experimentation of new concepts and long-term strategic commercial partnerships
- Identify and pursue new partnerships that accelerate existing product roadmaps, launch new innovative solutions, and disrupt traditional market practices
- Define and champion opportunities, value propositions and product requirements for new partnerships with a razor-sharp focus on solving client needs
- Lead multidisciplinary teams (Sales, Product, Tech, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Finance) to design, build, launch, and commercialize new products powered through fintech partnerships
- Engage corporate clients to pilot new solutions / fintech partnerships and evangelize J.P. Morgan Payments’ approach to innovation and fintech partnerships
- Identify, evaluate and execute strategic investments in fintechs we have a commercial partnership with
- Help develop thought leadership and provocative perspectives on the future of payments and treasury services
Qualifications
- Ability to deconstruct client challenges into core needs which can be addressed in new ways and potentially with new fintech partnerships
- Passion for creatively solving problems and an entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to adeptly pivot opportunities based on new information
- Ability to manage projects involving multiple workstreams across internal stakeholders, clients and partners
- Strong analytical and research skills to conduct market scans, market sizing, financial analysis, valuations
- Strong communication/presentation skills (i.e. creating content) that can be consumed at all seniority levels with both internal and external audiences
- Team player who is comfortable orchestrating cross-functional, matrixed project teams
- Demonstrated ability to understand and assess new opportunities based on customer and market need, organizational alignment, economics, technological capabilities and competitive environment
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to rapidly synthesize data
Professional experiences that will set you apart
- Successful track record of designing, launching and commercializing new products and/or partnerships
- Experience in partnership lifecycle planning, development, management (in particular within the payments / financial services industry)
- Knowledge of Payments, in particular within Europe, Middle East and Africa
- Experience on an Innovation / Partnerships / Corporate Development / Strategy team within a large organization or work at a start-up
- Experience negotiating and structuring successful commercial partnerships and/or early-stage investments
- Relationships with the EMEA fintech ecosystem, including fintechs, VCs, accelerators
