The role:

Knight Frank are looking for someone with extensive facilities and operations management experience to oversee the national operations for a major landlord, Abacus Group.

Your skillset will extend to being able to motivate and lead a team of operations and sustainability property professionals in exceeding the expectations of our client through strategic advice, excellence in execution and exceptional delivery of service.

You will work very closely with the National Portfolio Manager in ensuring the success of the contractual obligations.


Key responsibilities:
  • Assist in the delivery of a holistic suite of services to the client.
  • Lead & motivate the portfolio team to achieve a culture of teamwork and high standards.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with all client stakeholders.
  • Deliver regular reporting requirements.
  • Periodical site visits.
  • Oversee and support performance of the portfolio Facilities Managers
  • Oversee the national CAPEX plan, budget, and project delivery.
  • Assist in setting the portfolio P&L income and expense budget.

Who are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 10 years previous experience in the Property industry with strong understanding of Asset Management.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Knowledge of building operations.
  • Strong communication and negotiations skills.
  • Proactive in anticipating needs.
  • Strong understanding of leasing process.
  • Have strong analytical and reporting writing skills.
