The role:

We are looking to appoint a receptionist to oversee the administrative, clerical and reception services for the business, providing clients and staff with outstanding customer service and support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the organisation achieves its aims and objectives by providing administrative, clerical and reception services
  • Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude, providing them with superb customer service
  • Ensure the office is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies, tracking and ordering office equipment as required
  • Answer all incoming calls, taking messages and directing the enquiries to the appropriate service lines
  • Accept all letters and packages and distribute them to their appropriate departments
  • Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, scanning, taking notes, and making travel plans
  • Schedule appointments for the Directors, preparing meeting rooms as required
  • Monitor, organise and forward emails
  • Oversee office budgets and approvals
  • Writing and invoicing paperwork

Who are we looking for?

  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field
  • Consistent, professional dress and manner
  • Great understanding of office administration, clerical and reception practices
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Basic understanding of the property industry is desired but not essential
  • Ability to work in a team environment, assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required
