Koala is a global furniture brand bringing Australian design and innovation to the world. We create forward-thinking products that solve problems for people and homes everywhere, driven by our purpose to make the world a more comfortable place.
We’ve always believed in doing things differently, whether in the way we develop products, how we do people and culture, or the way we bring the brand to life. That mindset has fuelled our growth, helping us disrupt categories in ways that are creative, bold and often unexpected. While we’re a household name in Australia, our journey on the global stage is only just beginning.
Since launching in 2015, our furniture has reached homes across Australia, Japan, the US and the UK. As a B Corp-certified, customer-obsessed, and data-led company, we’re committed to revolutionising furniture for generations to come through design, innovation, and meaningful sustainability.
Role Description
The Growth Marketing Specialist supports the core of Koala's paid media engine, working alongside the Growth Lead on strategy, testing and new growth streams. You'll ship and manage campaigns across Meta, YouTube, TikTok and Google, pace budgets against what the business needs, and turn what you see in the data into insights the creative, e-commerce, lifecycle, and brand teams can act on.
Key Responsibilities
Build, launch and QA campaigns across Meta, YouTube, TikTok and Google, and manage day-to-day performance.
Pace budgets and action reallocations in line with agreed targets, scaling what's working and killing what's not.
Monitor daily, weekly and monthly trends, flagging spend anomalies, CPA shifts and creative fatigue early, and act on them.
Own the weekly performance read with the Growth Lead, focused on the metrics that create business impact.
Run structured tests across creative, account structure, bidding, and landing experiences.
Share creative insights (hooks, formats, messages, offers) with the Creative Strategist to speed up our testing loop.
Partner with e-commerce, lifecycle and Data& Analytics to share learnings across the funnel and keep tracking healthy.
Use AI tools and automation to speed up reporting and analysis, so more time goes into insight and action.
Ideal background
2-3 years in performance or growth marketing, in-house or agency; e-commerce or DTC preferred.
Hands-on experience running campaigns in Meta and TikTok.
Strong understanding of performance creative, what grabs attention, and what makes people take action.
Strong commercial and analytical judgement, with a knack for tying in-platform metrics to business impact.
Working knowledge of tracking set-up and pixel management.
Active use of AI tools to improve the speed and quality of your work.
Clear, fast communicator who shares updates early and iterates rather than waiting for perfect.
A demonstrated ability to learn quickly. You won't know everything on day one, and that's fine. We're looking for curiosity and a real hunger to learn.
