The Opportunity:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for consulting the regional Sales team, Product Managers, and customers in the development of custom machine specifications to meet site, application and environmental needs.
The role consists of general engineering duties such as specification definition, referencing standards, advising conceptually on engineering design fundamentals including, hydraulics, structural, low voltage electrical and machine application.

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Engineering qualification or trade experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word and Excel) and Design software (CAD, SOLIDWORKS, Windchill) preferred
- Knowledge of Engineering Design processes from conceptual design through to product delivery) preferred
- Good understanding of mechanical and hydraulic engineering and a working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems preferred
- Ability to develop and clearly articulate engineering activity plans.
- Must be technically competent to understand and deliver Design requirements and implementing revised or new processes and procedures
- Good written and oral communication skills.
