Our work will take you in different directions.

We’re looking for a Product Engineer to join our Engineering Team. This person can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. They will provide technical expertise to identify and implement the most suitable KONE product solutions to meet our customer’s needs.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for finding and implementing the optimal technical solutions to meet the customer needs.

  • Involves supply line, installation, maintenance and project management to understand both the materials and the service cost of the product when needed.

  • Provide advanced technical solutions to support Sales, CSE teams, and customer inquiries

  • Maintain product specifications for corporate and local materials.

  • Propose solutions for all KONE business lines.

  • Ensures that the proposed product fulfils local codes, regulations, and safety requirements.

  • Ensures that the planned product complies with KONE’s Engineering Policy.

  • Support rollout of new product releases, including documentation, local materials and training of sales and Installation teams.

  • Develop an understanding of Traffic and Energy calculations using corporate tools.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Holistic understanding of different building types and customer segments.

  • Excellent skills in understanding and translating customer needs into technical specifications.

  • Ability to work with codes and standards in a regulated environment.

  • Good knowledge of environmental and sustainability requirements and norms.

  • Basic knowledge of competitors’ technical solutions.
