At KONE Doors Business, we bring buildings to life.

We’re looking for amechanically minded Field Service Technician to join our high-performing team in Melbourne, VIC. Whether you have direct experience with automatic doors or come from a related hands-on technical background, we encourage you to apply.

No two days are the same as you manage the equipment and servicing of KONE’s automatic doors, roller shutters and gates across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers.

What will you be doing?

  • Carry out preventative maintenance on automatic doors and roller shutters

  • Attend callouts and breakdowns

  • Carry out installation and commissioning activities

  • Ensure all work is completed in line with KONE policies and procedures, including health, safety, and quality standards

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the local region, delivering high-quality service and support

What are we looking for?

  • Mechanically minded with strong hands-on experience

  • 3+ years’ hands-on experience in a maintenance or service positions

  • Experience in the doors industry is an advantage, but not essential

  • Backgrounds in whitegoods, appliances, electronics, or similar service/repair roles are highly regarded

  • Full driver’s licence required

  • Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality

  • Customer service mindset

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
