We’re looking for amechanically minded Field Service Technician to join our high-performing team in Melbourne, VIC. Whether you have direct experience with automatic doors or come from a related hands-on technical background, we encourage you to apply.
No two days are the same as you manage the equipment and servicing of KONE’s automatic doors, roller shutters and gates across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers.
What will you be doing?
Carry out preventative maintenance on automatic doors and roller shutters
Attend callouts and breakdowns
Carry out installation and commissioning activities
Ensure all work is completed in line with KONE policies and procedures, including health, safety, and quality standards
Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the local region, delivering high-quality service and support
What are we looking for?
Mechanically minded with strong hands-on experience
3+ years’ hands-on experience in a maintenance or service positions
Experience in the doors industry is an advantage, but not essential
Backgrounds in whitegoods, appliances, electronics, or similar service/repair roles are highly regarded
Full driver’s licence required
Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
Customer service mindset
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
