Join a supportive, high performing team in Sydney

We are seeking a passionate Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Mascot, NSW. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing KDB Australia's end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, supplier performance, and operational planning.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable, efficient, and cost-effective supply of automatic door systems, components, spare parts, and project materials across Australia. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help deliver exceptional customer outcomes, support service requirements, and ensure customer commitments are met while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain function.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and implement national supply chain strategies that support KDB Australia’s business objectives.

  • Lead procurement, sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management to drive value and performance.

  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring targets for cost, quality, delivery, compliance, and risk are achieved.

  • Ensure material availability to meet customer demands

  • Manage logistics, warehousing, freight, and import operations to ensure efficient supply chain performance.

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels minimising working capital and obsolete stock.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and customer delivery commitments.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimisation, automation, and enhanced reporting.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing supply chain, procurement, and logistics personnel.

What are we looking for?

  • 4+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain management or other relevant area

  • Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply ‘MCIPS’ qualification is highly regarded

  • Good tendering and negotiation skills

  • Contract management knowledge

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Understanding of supply market dynamics, key cost drivers, and industry technologies.

  • Experience using SAP and advantage

  • A valid Australian driver’s licence
