We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Safety Manager to join our Safety Team in Mascot, NSW. The successful candidate will lead the way in fostering a proactive, high-performing safety culture.

This is a hands-on, standalone role with end-to-end responsibility for the safety function. This person will drive continuous improvement initiatives, influence positive safety behaviours, and work closely with stakeholders to build a safe, compliant, and resilient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and improve KONE’s safety management system

  • Set safety objectives and drive management commitment

  • Lead safety committees and forums within the unit

  • Monitor compliance through audits and risk assessments

  • Manage incident investigations and corrective actions

  • Develop and deliver safety communication and training programs

  • Collaborate with customers and partners on safety initiatives

  • Support crisis and emergency response planning

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field

  • 5+ years of experience in safety management, preferably in an industrial sector

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and management systems

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in project and change management
