The KONE Apprenticeship Program is structured over four years combining on-job-training including formal study. You will get the opportunity to work across all KONE business lines gaining a diverse range of skills and experience. Being an Apprentice with KONE means you will play a key role in assisting to develop solutions that make people´s lives easier and helping to improve the quality of urban life. You will collaborate and learn not only with your team onsite but with the wider apprentice team across Australia and New Zealand.
What will you be doing?
Throughout your formal training and practical experience, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work alongside qualified technicians to understand functioning of elevators and escalators.
- Assist in installing, modernising and servicing of KONE elevators, escalators.
- Participate in our specially design learning program while undertaking formal TAFE studies.
- Develop electrical skills on your way to becoming a qualified electrician
Are you the one?
- A completed School Certificate or High School Certificate
- Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude curiosity with the excitement to become a fully qualified Electrician
- A willingness to learn, develop and collaborate in a team environment, with a safety-first mindset
- A strong work ethic, being reliable, punctual, honest and committed to completing your trade qualification
- Current driver’s license or ability to obtain a license once you meet the minimum eligibility requirements

Where could a KONE apprenticeship take you?
Our apprentices go on to lead some of the biggest projects in the country, manage our team’s day to day and consult and work on projects overseas. They develop their careers into our sales teams, senior management and even directors! Our apprentices influence and impact our business and ways of working in positive sustainable ways throughout their careers both locally and globally.
