Our work will take you in different directions

KONE are looking for Two Project Managers to join our New Equipment Business - Major Projects team in Brisbane, Queensland.

Reporting to the Project Delivery Operation Manager you will be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery & management of projects across all milestones, cost & quality control, effectively managing stakeholder communication and relationships.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of projects and take ownership of cost control, quality outcomes, time and effectively managing stakeholder relationships.

What will you be doing?

  • Proactively manage communication with customers and key stakeholders throughout the installation process. Primarily focus will be on design and procurement stages
  • Undertake early planning & feasibility of the project (working closely with all stakeholders is key to ensure successful project delivery
  • Hold weekly PCG meetings with supply line managers, customer & internal teams
  • Manage contract and variations very closely
  • Manage project risk reviews and status updates
  • Ensure adherence with clearly defined procedures and guidelines
  • Achieve KONE's safety targets by driving/ maintaining a safety focused culture
  • Ensuring compliance to policy requirements
  • Partner with key internal teams in pre-tender and tender activities
  • Work closely with delivery operation manager, projects managers and site managers to ensure success of other projects within the MP Portfolio


What are we looking for?

  • Project Management qualification required
  • Building/ Construction management experience required
  • Major Projects experience is very ideal and will be highly considered
  • Lift experience will be highly considered but not essential
  • Experience In managing large projects
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project management
  • Strong influencing and negotiation sills
  • Team player & positive attitude
  • Resilient and persevering approach
