KONE has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Product & Offering Manager in our Service & Modernisation Business to join our team in Mascot, Sydney.
He/She will develop and implement a strategy based on customer, business and global release understanding to ensure competitiveness in the market.
He/She support the Sales Consultants in prospecting, tendering and negotiations with specific knowledge. This role is responsible for profitable sales growth and the improvement of sales processes and activities. Additionally, he/she collaborates with the Global team to further develop the offering and sales activities.
What will you be doing?
- Offering management
- Manage the local solution offering, scope and roadmap aligned with Global and Asia-Pacific releases for our Service and Modernisation Businesses
- Participates in sales target setting, price setting and identification of new target markets & customers
- Prepare Business Cases for new market initiatives and offerings based on market assessment
- Ensure Business processes are in place to support new initiatives and releases
- Maintains product data, sales and tendering tools and pricing guidelines, implements new releases
- Participate in the global product offer management reviews including input for new Offerings
- Manages implementation, ramp-up and ramp-downs products and releases
- Transfers information and knowledge of his/her offering range between KONE product specialists and his/her FL
Customer Relationship Management & Sales
- Leads rollout of KONE Way sales training for offering and solutions.
- Develops marketing activities and campaigns with the support of the Marketing Team
- Supports in defining/communicating the benefits and value to customers of KONE Solutions in different market segments
- Creates support material for Sales Managers and Salespersons in defining, specifying, and selling KONE solutions
- Participates in customer meetings and events
Are you the one?
- Customer relationship management skills, experience within the broad business market and understanding customer needs
- Degree qualification in engineering, marketing, or business desired
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role of Product offerings and Solutions with an understanding of developing and executing go to market strategies
- Detailed knowledge of product life-cycle management and methodology plus tools in general
- Technical knowledge of maintenance and modernisation methods in the elevator industry (or similar) desired but not essential
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities
- Interested in contributing to thought leadership topics around sustainability and digital technology
- Proactive approach with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders across all levels
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, PowerPoint with strong and confident presentation skills
