Why this role?
As the Pricing Manager for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), you will be responsible for setting up the pricing function for ANZ. This would include developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share for all KONE business lines in ANZ. This role involves analysing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to set optimal prices for products and services. Will collaborate with the leadership team, sales, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies that align with the business lines’ overall transformation goals, while maximizing value across the full customer lifecycle
- Drive transformation of current pricing ways of working, executing on local and regional pricing initiatives, incl. development of pricing mindset, tools, processes, and governance frameworks
- Identify short-term and long-term pricing initiatives for profitable growth by analysing market segments, sales channels, end-to-end pricing & leakages, individual sales performance, and performance across customer lifecycle
- Work closely with business lines and regions to ensure alignment and support for pricing initiatives, engaging stakeholders to gather input, address concerns, and build consensus; Lead/Coordinate internal communication on a pricing strategy to ensure uniform messages delivered to internal stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in pricing processes and practices. Create feedback loop to improve internal and external understanding of competitors and customers (incl. market research).
- Assist in the development and implementation of pricing tools, processes, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with best practices, and providing training and support to team members.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyse pricing data, generate actionable insights, and prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the senior leadership.
- Lead and mentor sales leaders and salespeople, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities and provide feedback to ensure continuous development. Support in negotiation of large deals.
