About the Role

KONE is looking for an experienced Procurement Category Manager – Indirects to lead and deliver category strategies across our Australia and New Zealand business. This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping indirect procurement strategies, driving value through end‑to‑end sourcing projects, and managing key supplier relationships across a diverse portfolio of indirect spend.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams, acting as the category lead for Indirects within the ANZ region while ensuring alignment with global procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category procurement strategies and plans aligned to business objectives

  • Lead end‑to‑end procurement projects, including RFx activities and supplier selection

  • Manage and negotiate supplier contracts, ensuring value, compliance, and risk mitigation

  • Lead contract implementations and resolve contract‑related issues

  • Monitor market trends, benchmarks, and best practices across indirect categories

  • Develop and improve category‑specific policies, processes, and governance

You will bring:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field

  • Preferred MCIPS qualification (or working towards)

  • Experience managing indirect categories across multiple business units

  • Strong experience in category management, sourcing, and supplier negotiations

  • Excellent stakeholder, change, and project management skills

  • Confidence working in a matrixed, international environment
