We’re looking for a Design Engineer to join our Modernisation Team based in Mascot, NSW. This person will be accountable for all engineering work across our modernisation projects, from the initial start-up meeting through to handover to the maintenance team.

What will you be doing?

Responsible for supporting technical solutions to meet the customer’s needs
Engineer designs and modifications to adapt new equipment to existing environments
Draft manufacturing of parts
Responsible for verifying and ordering overseas equipment
Co-ordinate overseas and local materials to meet customer expectations
Perform engineering checks to validate solutions

What are we looking for?

Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with experience in CAD design, preferably 3D
3+ years of relevant engineering experience with exposure to the elevator business highly desired
Highly skilled in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD& Inventor
Good organisational skills and time management
Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence and clarity
Ability to understand and translate customer needs into KONE technical specifications
