Our work will take you in different directions

We’re looking for a Design Engineer to join our Modernisation Team based in Mascot, NSW. This person will be accountable for all engineering work across our modernisation projects, from the initial start-up meeting through to handover to the maintenance team.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for supporting technical solutions to meet the customer’s needs

  • Engineer designs and modifications to adapt new equipment to existing environments

  • Draft manufacturing of parts

  • Responsible for verifying and ordering overseas equipment

  • Co-ordinate overseas and local materials to meet customer expectations

  • Perform engineering checks to validate solutions

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with experience in CAD design, preferably 3D

  • 3+ years of relevant engineering experience with exposure to the elevator business highly desired

  • Highly skilled in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD& Inventor

  • Good organisational skills and time management

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence and clarity

  • Ability to understand and translate customer needs into KONE technical specifications
