The Opportunity
We’re looking for a detail‑driven and proactive Commissions and Reporting Officer to join our Liberty NZ team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of Adviser and Agent commissions, while supporting reporting and data‑driven projects across the business.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, Advisers, Agents, lenders and insurers, helping resolve commission queries and contributing to strong operational outcomes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, values accuracy, and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced financial services environment.
Your day to day will be varied and rewarding. You will:
- Process commission payments and invoices accurately and within required timeframes
- Collate and distribute monthly Adviser and Agent commission statements
- Proactively investigate and resolve missing or incorrect commission payments with lenders and insurers
- Respond to adviser, agent, and internal stakeholder queries in a timely and customer‑focused manner
- Support data‑based projects and ad‑hoc reporting across the NZ business
- Maintain strong working relationships with Advisers, Agents and Business Partners by meeting service standards
- Ensure all work is completed with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and minimal errors
- Follow New Zealand operating policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Contribute to a positive, risk‑aware and values‑led team culture

You enjoy working with detail and data, take pride in accuracy, and understand the importance of strong service delivery. You’ll bring:
- Experience in commissions processing, finance, reporting, or a similar operational role (financial services experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
- A customer‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and other systems
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- A commitment to compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement
