About Liberty

Helping people is at the core of who we are. As Australia’s top non-bank lender, we’ve spent decades providing free-thinking and innovative loans and have assisted over 500,000 individuals in achieving financial stability. Our range of flexible, tailored products and our dedication to creating outstanding customer experiences are at the heart of what we do.

We are a collaborative and vibrant community, driven by our core values. Our vision of leading the finance sector with innovative thinking is guided by FLAIR, our five key principles of being Fair, Learning, Accountable, Invested, and Resourceful. These values shape our perspective, interactions with customers, and relationships with one another.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a commercially minded and experienced Marketing Adviser to join our NZ Marketing & Communications team, supporting the Mike Pero Mortgages business.

In this role, you’ll take the lead in delivering high-impact, integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen adviser engagement, enhance brand presence, and drive business growth. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, business partners, and agencies to plan and execute campaigns, develop compelling content and collateral, and ensure a consistent, high-quality brand experience across all touchpoints.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and hands-on marketer who enjoys balancing planning with execution and thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.

Your day to day will be varied and rewarding. You will:

  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives, including clear success metrics and post-campaign analysis
  • Lead the creation and optimisation of adviser and customer collateral, ensuring consistency, quality, and commercial impact
  • Provide clear campaign briefs to agencies and internal teams, and manage the end-to-end creative and production process
  • Drive continuous improvement in marketing processes, including centralisation and management of brand assets and documentation
  • Build strong relationships with advisers, business partners, and internal teams to enhance engagement and support growth
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform marketing strategy and identify new opportunities
  • Create and deliver high-quality content across channels, including digital, direct marketing, and communications
  • Support and execute PR, events, and sponsorship initiatives to elevate the Mike Pero Mortgages brand
  • Maintain and uphold brand standards across all platforms and partner channels
  • Ensure all marketing activity aligns with compliance, risk, and governance requirements
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within budget

Enough about us, lets talk about you

You’re a confident and proactive marketing professional who brings both strategic thinking and strong execution capability. You’re comfortable influencing stakeholders and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within financial services, franchised networks, or adviser-based environments
  • Strong campaign management experience across digital, direct, and brand channels
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels
  • Experience managing agencies and leading creative development processes
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse campaign performance and translate insights into action
  • Strong content and communication skills, with attention to detail and brand consistency
  • A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Understanding of compliance and risk considerations within regulated industries (preferred)
  • A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering measurable business outcomes
