The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and relationship-focused Network Manager to join our Mike Pero Mortgages team. In this highly visible role, you'll work closely with Franchisees and Advisers across New Zealand, helping them grow their businesses, improve performance, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes. You’ll act as a trusted business partner to the network, providing sales, operational and compliance support while driving growth and strengthening engagement across the Mike Pero Mortgages franchise community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys coaching others, building strong relationships, and making a tangible impact on business success.
Your day to day will be varied and rewarding. You will:
- Build strong relationships with Franchisees and Advisers across the Mike Pero Mortgages network
- Recruit, onboard and support new franchise owners, providing the training, coaching and development required for them to become competent, confident and successful advisers
- Support Franchisees to develop business development and sales plans that drive growth and improved performance
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity and customer outcomes across the network
- Provide coaching, mentoring and ongoing support to both new and established Franchisees
- Deliver operational, sales and service guidance to help Franchisees achieve business objectives
- Use data insights and reporting to measure performance and support informed decision-making
- Keep Franchisees informed of product updates, rate changes, marketing initiatives and business priorities
- Support the delivery of compliance and audit requirements across the franchise network
- Assist in managing customer complaints and ensuring appropriate resolutions are achieved
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver network development initiatives, training and events
- Conduct regular franchise visits to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Promote a positive, risk-aware and values-led culture across the network

You are a natural relationship builder who enjoys influencing, coaching and supporting others to succeed. You bring strong commercial acumen, a customer-first mindset and a passion for helping businesses grow. You’ll also bring:
- Experience in business development, relationship management, franchise management or financial services
- A strong understanding of mortgage lending, financial services or a related industry
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a focus on driving performance and growth
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- The ability to analyse data and use insights to improve business outcomes
- A proactive, self-motivated and solutions-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A commitment to compliance, customer outcomes and continuous improvement
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout New Zealand to support the franchise network
