About the role
Do you have a passion for numbers and people? Looking for a new opportunity in a collaborative and supportive environment?
Our Finance team are looking for an experienced Team Leader to lead a cohesive Financial Operations team that provides a timely delivery of daily financial transactions, accounting requirements, whilst ensuring all relevant accounts and systems are reconciled and any anomalies investigated and resolved quickly.
As a free-thinking Team Leader - Financial Operations, you can:
- Provide effective leadership to enable the team to identify and implement process improvements,
- Proactively engage with business units, whilst efficiently and effectively implement their product changes,
- Ensure the provision of timely and accurate financial information,
- Guarantee a smooth, reliable and accurate transaction processing function,
- Identify and champion risk management practices, and
- Build and maintain a high performing team who work efficiently and communicate necessary, and
- Embrace, promote and champion Liberty's culture.
Requirements
- Previously worked as a Financial Operations Team Leader
- Degree qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting and/or an equivalent level of skills or knowledge gained through experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence best practices
- Passionate about process improvements and problem-solving
- Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met
- Passionate about developing, supporting and leading a high performing team.
