Team Leader - Financial Operations

About the role

Our Finance team are looking for an experienced Team Leader to lead a cohesive Financial Operations team that provides a timely delivery of daily financial transactions, accounting requirements, whilst ensuring all relevant accounts and systems are reconciled and any anomalies investigated and resolved quickly.

As a free-thinking Team Leader - Financial Operations, you can:

• Provide effective leadership to enable the team to identify and implement process improvements,
• Proactively engage with business units, whilst efficiently and effectively implement their product changes,
• Ensure the provision of timely and accurate financial information,
• Guarantee a smooth, reliable and accurate transaction processing function,
• Identify and champion risk management practices, and
• Build and maintain a high performing team who work efficiently and communicate necessary, and
• Embrace, promote and champion Liberty's culture.

Requirements

• Previously worked as a Financial Operations Team Leader
• Degree qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting and/or an equivalent level of skills or knowledge gained through experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence best practices
• Passionate about process improvements and problem-solving
• Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met
• Passionate about developing, supporting and leading a high performing team.
