About Liberty

Helping people is in our DNA. As a leading non-bank lender in New Zealand, for decades we have been providing free-thinking loans and have helped more than 850,000 people get financial across Australia and New Zealand. We offer a broad range of flexible and custom products and are passionate about building and delivering exceptional experiences for our customers.

We are a collaborative and social community that pride ourselves on being values driven. We base our vision of being the leading finance group that champions free thinking on FLAIR, our five key values that guide us to always be Fair, Learning, Accountable, Invested and Resourceful. These values inform everything we do, from how we look at the world, engage with our customers and treat each other.

The Opportunity

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Officer to join our Liberty NZ team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional service to our customers and financial advisers, while also supporting the smooth running of our office through general and ad‑hoc administrative tasks. You’ll be joining a collaborative, high-performing team where your attention to detail, initiative, and positive attitude will be truly valued.

Your day to day will be varied and rewarding. You’ll:

  • be the first point of contact for financial advisers and customers providing timely and helpful support.
  • Load and configure lending applications ensuring they meet our quality assurance requirements.
  • Support day-to-day office operations, including general administration, organising supplies, preparing documents, and assisting with team activities
  • Pitch in with ad‑hoc administrative tasks as needed to keep everything running smoothly
  • Collaborate with your team to improve processes and share insights that enhance our service delivery.

Enough about us, lets talk about you

You’re someone who thrives in a customer focused environment and enjoys solving problems with care and efficiency. You’ll bring:

  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences with professionalism and empathy.
  • Previous experience in lending is a plus, but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to explain information clearly and confidently.
  • A detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in every task and interaction.
  • Confidence using Microsoft suite of products and navigating various software platforms.
  • Willingness to support the wider team with general office duties and ad‑hoc administrative tasks
  • A proactive and self-motivated professional who takes initiative, drives outcomes, and consistently delivers results without waiting to be asked
