In an exciting time of change and growth, as our new Principal Enterprise Architect, you will be an important part of LV=GI's integration and alignment with our partners at Allianz UK. As a member of the LV=GI IT Architecture group, you'll lead the shaping of the IT Strategy, thoroughly document the 'as is' architecture, and map out our future needs: this Target Architecture will future proof our business.
This is a new role in LV=GI, so this is a great opportunity to shape the Enterprise Architecture domain. There will be line management responsibility of a team of Enterprise and Solution Architects. You'll be part of the Architecture leadership team, a trusted expert, and become the advisor to important partners, and shape the architecture of the business. You'll work in collaboration with the family of businesses to present roadmaps to achieve each domain's strategic goals, and review their effectiveness.
You will keep track of the latest technologies, and as the specialist, persuade and steer future decisions relating to IT architecture. You will be a potential chair of and important partner within the GI Architectural Design Authority to ensure that enterprise-wide governance, benefits and consequences are understood and translated into meaningful information and advice for the many team members you engage across the businesses.
About you
As an expert in IT Architecture, you're looking for a role where you can join a thriving and changing business to put your own stamp on how things are done at an Enterprise level. You're a self-starter with the ability to manage yourself and others, to develop influential relationships with our directors, customers, and third party suppliers at every level.
Your CV should evidence your previous work providing advice, delivering project management skills, and create successful business case submissions for new projects. You can produce Landscape models of existing solutions, including technical and operational components, and working with senior business stakeholders, plan the future roadmap. Ideally you will have worked within Financial Service organisations before including Insurance providers.
Your technical background can be from any number of development technologies and applications, allowing you to better understand the IT architectures required from an operational point of view. In the current climate, we welcome your ability to work with different teams and partners virtually, as even when we make a return to the office you'll liaise with managers in multiple locations across the enterprise.
If you're a senior IT architect with the ability to influence others, and the confidence to come into a new role to help shape it, and forge our future roadmap across multiple entities, then this is a great opportunity for you.
