About the Role
As part of the Finance and Commercial Services Directorate, the Information Management Branch’s responsibility is to enable business through innovative, agile, and reliable Information and Communications Technology Systems and Services.
The Information Management Branch manages a large and complex network that supports over 2000 staff and 300+ applications across the whole state. It delivers ICT Services for the whole organisation with a mix of cloud and on-premise technology.
In this role, you will provide specialist advice and solutions to Main Roads directorates for the improvement and enhancement of their business operations through the application of information, systems, and technology. You will use your strong stakeholder relationship skills to work collaboratively with your portfolio and ensure the effective management of their needs and expectations relating to the provision of Information and Communications Technology.
About You
As an experienced ICT professional, you will be able to demonstrate relevant experience in understanding ICT business requirements and negotiating with stakeholders to ensure ICT needs and expectations are fulfilled. You will have the ability to think critically and provide solutions and specialist advice for the development of strategic information systems and technology plans. As an ICT Business Partner, you will show leadership, anticipating opportunities and trends in ICT technologies, developing recommendations, and facilitating their implementation in both process and business improvement action plans.
