ABOUT THE ROLE
The AIS Support Specialist will provide support to the Operational Control and Management System’s (OCMS) Asset management team by performing updates to MTM’s Asset Information Systems in order to support business needs. It involves liaising with various stakeholders within OCMS and the wider business to review asset information, improve asset management practises and support changes to our processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support strategic and tactical improvements to our Asset Information Systems to enhance business outcomes.
- Provide subject matter expertise, support and training across the business in the use of the systems.
- Configure the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system’s Asset and Works management modules. Perform changes and implement/adopt functionality for both new and existing records.
- Utilise bulk upload tools to import asset data into our systems and resolve any issues as they occur.
- Review of asset information (data and images) for completeness and quality prior to submissions, including coordinating with stakeholders to ensure all issues arising from asset data collected is addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Develop skills in order to be able to operate all of MTM’s Asset Information Systems i.e. software including Asset Management, IT Service Management, ERP etc
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualification in an Information Technology or Engineering discipline
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and ability to work with large data sets
- Experience performing data translation/migration using bulk importing/loading tools and extract, transform and load (ETL) techniques
- Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and IT Service Management systems.
