About the role
We are currently seeking a dynamic Junior Application Support Analyst to be part of our Projects Division. In this role you will support the delivery of the Projects Division IT Digital Strategy and support the deployment and ongoing use of the Project Hub application.
The Junior Application Support Analyst will help to manage the Project Hub user base, adjust Project Hub functionality as required, create, and maintain PowerBi reports, and be first line of support for Project Hub users. You will play an integral part in the ongoing development of the Project Hub – a MS Power Apps solution and will work with the team to provide ongoing operational support. As an MTM employee, you will have access to free travel along the MTM Rail Network.
Accountabilities
The key responsibilities of the Junior Application Support Analyst will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting: Play an integral part in the user support of The Project Hub – a MS Power Apps solution. Work with the team to help support the application once it is operational.
- Problem Solving: Work with internal and external stakeholders to brainstorm and resolve problems with affordable, workable, manageable and reliable IT solutions.
- Data analysis: Work with the team to ensure the data in the project hub is up to date and accurate. Review data and look for anomalies to report on.
- Any other duties as specified by manager.
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proficient Microsoft Application skills, including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI
- Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask and prioritise as well as demonstrate organisational skills and initiative
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- MS Power Apps Certification desirable
- Digital application development expertise desirable
