We are currently looking for adynamic Payroll Officer to provide their expertise in a fast paced and high volume processing role. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, generation and data inputs related to the processing
of payroll, including payment of wages, allowances, leave and separations. The position is required to liaise with third party providers and internal stakeholders to collate and review data for accuracy and appropriateness in accordance with divisional policies and practices.

Key Areas of Responsibility
- Adhere to the procedures, processes and time constraints that occur within a payroll system.
- Prepare and accurately input daily and/or fortnightly or weekly information from employees’ timesheets and complex rosters; and complete payroll processing as part of a team.
- Respond to all payroll related queries from employees (current and past), managers, and business divisions (as appropriate).
- Provide information as required to relevant external authorities, including the ATO, Centrelink, superfunds etc., to ensure data is processed accurately and on time.
- Interpret relevant employer/employee registered agreements, Awards, directives and policy requirements to ensure correct payment of employees and the effective maintenance of employee Masterfile details.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in Payroll processing and data entry with at least 2-5 years’ experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel including formulas, pivot tables and data transformation.
- Previous experience with ADP Payforce
- Knowledge of Enterprise Agreements and workforce legislation, working with integrated systems and providing insights through reporting.
- A strong team player who strives to enhance best practice work methods and techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally & written with all levels of stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple tasks in a timely manner.
