As the Level Crossing Removal Project continues to deliver a safer and more efficient train network, the Metro team involved in this large-scale project is expanding to respond to current and future works. The South Eastern Program Alliance (LXRP), is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support current projects as part of the Level Crossing Removal Program (LXRP).

About the Role:
Initially based at the Mont Albert Office and working within the Union/Mont Albert level crossing removal project, this integral role will support the Senior Project Manager to deliver the project’s technical objectives and requirements by providing engineering oversight and satisfying the obligations and requirements of the MTM, the project / alliance, the State and regulatory bodies as required.
You will lead the team to perform engineering works within Level Crossing Removal projects and interpret desired outcomes into a detailed plan that can be implemented by a project team through performing engineering work in the specialist area of Overhead Line Electrification.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in Engineering, Rail, Project Management and Construction
- Min 2 years leading and managing a large team, contractors and consultants
- 5 to 10 years’ experience with stakeholder engagement across multi - disciplinary organisations
- 1-2 years’ experience in a railway system operational or design environment
