ABOUT THE ROLE
You will model new Operations Control Systems (OCS) devices for Level Crossing Removal and Melbourne Airport Rail Projects. You will co-ordinate, manage and create both new drawings and as-built drawings in Revit and AutoCAD software. Experience in these systems is critical to ensure full optimisation of the project rollout. Your ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders both verbally and written is critical to the correct execution of projects as majority of work is linked to a tight time schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft and model new designs as directed by respective stakeholders across the business.
- Engage with key members of Operational Control and Management Systems (OCMS) to capture information and requirements to complete as-built documentation.
- Review and read-into redline construction documentation to effectively draft documents to suit the needs of the business and our customer.
- Perform duties and support compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements and Metro policies and procedures, processes, systems, delegations and reporting requirements, including reporting any concerns or suspect activity and contributing to the stewardship for key risk categories and objectives
ABOUT YOU
- Experience working with and modelling in Revit, ProjectWise, BIM360, AUTOCAD, technical drafting experience is mandatory
- Experience producing building services or telecommunications drawings including:
- Modelling devices / objects in Revit;
- Schematics and wirings diagrams;
- Cabling and equipment schedules; and
- Site plans and layouts
- Demonstrated ability keeping revision history and overall document control
