About the role
We are seeking a highly organised professional to provide operational support to the High-Capacity Metro Train (HCMT) Team and liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and customers to resolve operational issues. As the Operations and Interface Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- identifying, implementing and documentation of relevant processes & procedures
- establishment and ongoing management of team processes
- client correspondence and management of key risks, issue registers and procedures
- contributing to the continuous improvement initiatives of the team
- leading workshops relating to process improvement, change management or updates to the operating protocol
- the primary support to the HCMT Infrastructure & Projects Interface Manager and the HCMT Management Team

About you
You will be a highly effective communicator (verbal and written) and have demonstrated
experience in operational coordination and management support within a similar environment. You will also possess:
- Proven experience /demonstrated understanding of the processes of contract and administration management and broader administrative systems management
- Good knowledge of research techniques and procedure/process development
- Experience in data collection, analysis & presenting
- Ability to follow occupational health, safety and environmental procedures in the rail industry
- Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence opinions
- Ability to schedule own work priorities to ensure deadlines are strictly adhered to
- Ability to use Microsoft programs for the application and presentation of various management reports
- Experience in railway or public transport operations is desirable.
