ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is responsible for the lifecycle management and oversight of contract renewals for recurring IT software and services agreements with existing suppliers, while also improving supplier compliance and operationalising supplier contracts within our SAP Ariba system.
This role will also provide leadership, engage with stakeholders, and participate in the OCMS Infrastructure and Service Delivery strategy, designed to achieve performance rigour, efficiency and maximising the value of Metro’s technology investments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, negotiate and manage the IT services and licensing agreements that are due for renewals and process the renewals through execution and system record in SAP Ariba.
- Engage and influence stakeholders to manage expectations to deliver value to the business within allocated timeframe
- Assist all Project and Contract Managers in achieving the required outcome of their contracts by providing interpretations on commercial and variation inquiries.
- Utilising Metro systems to deliver outcomes for the business or make process improvements to address deficiencies.
- Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of existing Source to Contract and procure-to-pay systems and processes.
- Establishment of contracts with appropriate commercial, pricing, risk and legal controls, with emphasis on leveraging long term strategic contracts or establishing contracts as required.
- Support Procurement to lead all functions of tender process including procurement strategy, market engagement, tender evaluation, negotiation planning and leading, contract drafting and having responsibility for all reporting processes.
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Procurement, Business Management, Law, Projects or equivalent disciplines required.
- Experience in modern purchasing and contract methods.
- Knowledge of IT service delivery and interest in technology
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers and manage vendor relationship
- Ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
